A fun little project that I've been attempting this year has been to take one photo every day this year. I started on New Year's Day, and plan to keep going until New Year's Eve this year. I always carry my Canon S100 around with me in my messenger bag, but most of these photos end up being taken by my phone (HTC Rezound at the moment) or 5th gen iPod Touch, as I always have them immediately next to me (usually in one pocket or the other)... While I do plan to make each photo unique from each other, there is only so much I can shoot day to day. I'm sure as the year progresses, there will be some very similar shots, but well, I'll do my best. :)

Who's been posting on Xanga for ten years? This guy right here! I'd like to say something a little more profound, but I need to leave for work in a sec! Haha.

It's been over a year since I've posted here on Xanga... I guess the influx over the years of various social networks and micro blogs (particularly compared to when I wrote regularly here) has caused my attention span to spread a bit thin. I'm not sure what in particular caused me to want to start posting here again, but although I probably won't match my posting frequency from, say, 2003-2006, I'm hoping to write at least once every couple weeks. That is, as long as a new post doesn't cause spambots to swarm to leave mindless comments on my entries.

Come to think of it, that's what reminded me to start posting here again. I received an email alert that I received a comment for the first time in who knows how long (which turned out to be a spam account).

Anywho, I hope that everyone reading this is doing well. Except for the spambots.
